Michael’s goal is the same in every case, obtain justice for his client. Justice may be an award of compensation for lost wages, emotional distress, property damage, or pain and suffering.  Justice may mean a court order requiring reinstatement, reasonable accommodations, or restitution.

Each case is different, but the commitment is the same.

Although Michael has represented clients on all types of cases, the focus of his practice is employment, housing and complex litigation.  Michael represents employees in employment discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage & hour cases.  Michael represents landlords in fair housing, habitability, eviction, accounting, and property damage cases.  Michael represents consumers and shareholders in class actions and derivative cases.

Michael understands that some people cannot afford an attorney so he is willing to take cases on a contingency fee basis where the attorney fee depends upon settling the case or winning at trial.  Many claims include the right to recover attorney fees, which helps people obtain legal representation.  Michael believes that everyone should have access to the justice system regardless of income.
